Hello

I'm Krissie, the founder of Best Thing Events.  I initially started my career in the world of Accountancy but my passion always sat with being creative.  Just before lockdown I owned a Children's Craft and Cookery School, which led me into the events world by expanding the business into Children's Parties. I love nothing more than organising an event, making it look the best it can look and having it run like clockwork.  The Cake (I used to make celebration cakes too!!!) Entertainment, Food, Decorations, Party Bags. I Loved it!!! So when lockdown hit I was gutted as my business like many other's closed overnight. We then decided to relocate (I hear we weren't the only ones!!!)  So once we finally settled in beautiful Rutland, I finally had time to decide on what to do next.  It wasn't a hard decision really.  Getting back to being creative and organising events again was definitely what I wanted to do.  Hence Best Thing Events was born.
